To all our Whitehall Colmcille members & friends,

As we all know this has been an unprecedented year & unfortunately it’s been impossible to do any club fundraising.Whitehall Colmcille really does need to raise funds to support our previous & new projects.
For example, flood lights at being installed at the moment on our new pitch & should be completed soon.
The 2021 GAA National Club Draw tickets are now available. This draw has the potential to raise €25,000 for our club funds. All prizes are donated by the GAA & all monies raised go straight to each club. Every member who is in a position to do so is asked to sell 5 tickets at €10 each.
Due to Covid 19 we are looking to do this remotely. We are asking members to pay either by Revolut, bank transfer or GoFundMe. We also need members to then forward their details by WhatsApp & we will return a photo of your filled in ticket as evidence of your purchase.
The number for Revolut & WhatsApp is 086 387 3704
For bank transfer: IBAN LT293250021794602366
BIC REVOLT21
Thank you to everyone in advance for your support.
Yours in sport

Whitehall Colmcille members & friends, this will be the first of many posts highlighting the fantastic volunteer work that was carried out by an army of club members during the Covid lockdown.

We owe huge appreciation to Glenn Murphy & his company GMcrete who have laid/sponsored a fantastic imprinted concrete patio outside our club bar & hall on Collins Avenue.

As you can see from the photos this area will be very popular when we get to reopen hopefully on August 10th.
Thanks a million Glenn Murphy & all at GMcrete. (Glen is full forward on our Pool team)

Check them out at www.gmcrete.ie

This coming Saturday (July 11th) at 9AM in our clubhouse on Collins Avenue, one of Whitehall Colmcille’s heros Cormac Ryan & his cousin Stephen will between them cycle 31 hours & 1 minute on stationary bikes.
That 31 hours & 1 minute represents 24 hours & an additional 421 minutes. That’s 1 additional minute in memory of each of the 421 people who took their own lives in Ireland in 2019.
We are asking everyone to join them for one hour slots & help them get through the 31 hours. We have an online sign up sheet here where people can reserve a bike for an hour:
alternatively people can pop down to support them at any time.
The lads are doing this as part of their charity fundraising efforts for their ‘Cycle Across America’ next April 2021.  Cormac, Stephen & Niall O’ Donnell will be cycling 5,500KMs from LA to New York in aid of Pieta House & Bodywhys.
This is an opportunity for everyone at home to get involved in their project.
Best of luck & respect from all your friends in Whitehall Colmcille.

Whitehall Colmcille is based in the heart of the Whitehall/Beaumont/Santry community.
